Out of everything you've heard who do you think is the most technically advanced bassist? It will help a lot if you provide a music file or a video of this bassist at their peak.

Anyway, my votes go for (in no particular order):
- Anthony Jackson
- Victor Wooten
- Michael Manring
- Jeff Berlin
- Adam Nitti

I would add Matt Garrison, Gary Willis and Alain Caron to that list. |

He picks stuff up pretty easily and if he was challenged I'd see him passing with flying colors, IMHO! |

He may not be doing harmonics, or thumb slap but it's still pretty technical.

He pops and slaps with the best of them over WILD time signatures and chord voicings while dancing and singing! Great showman and great bassist. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
