if you could be a manager of a band, and choose any musicians you want to be in it, who would you have? it doesnt matter if they are dead or alive, but try to pick people that would most likely play together. lets hear your ultimate band combo!!!!!!!!

Well there'd be two bassists and no guitarists. Me and Marcus Miller.

I have some old R&B drummer on drums(Wouldn't matter to me, anybody really.)

And I'd probably get whoever did that solo on Great Gig in the Sky to sing, that was just great.

We'd funk until the sun went down, and make millions from it!

Assuming I'm not in the band?

Carter Beauford on drums
Jack White on Rhythm/Backup vocals
Jimi Hendrix on Lead
Soundgarden era Chris Cornell on vocals
And the incomparable James Jamerson holding down the low end.

A couple cliche picks to be sure, but the versatility and power of that band would be undeniable. From R & B, psychedelia, funk, blues, hard rock, they could run the gamut.

Nice . . .

Steve Harris on bass..
Bruce Dickin.....

you know what, just combine Megadeth late 80s-late90s with Maiden circa Powerslave.

I love me.
