It's Fred Hammond's group with Maurice Fitzgerald, on a Peavey Cirrus.

I hooked up with Maurice last week, he's using my teal Ash/flamed Maple singlecut Brubaker K5B until his is done. He's playing at Wembley Arena tonight with Fred AFAIK

Thumbs up

Most sweet. And not just the bass playing, which kills.

Whoa

What a crazy coincidence...I'm subbing at a church this weekend (playing piano, not bass though) and the choir director let me borrow her Fred Hammond CD, so I just heard this song a few days ago. The studio version of this song ("I Want My Destiny") is very dry, no reverb whatsoever. Sounds almost like a demo, but this live version sounds AWESOME, and the bass tone (and performance) is a billion times better...

Now I'm starting to look into these Peavey Cirruses...Hmmm!

Cirrus basses are nice but I think the player had a bit to do with it too
