Maybe Randy Jackson, Doug Wimbish or John Pena... I have heard them play several styles. Seems like most players chose a style but which ones have actually mastered many styles?

The Bene is fine, played it last night and might use it at my next downtown gig. I'm still thinking though, it's that GAS thing, makes you sell stuff you actually want to keep, you know?
What about Juan Nelson? He seems like a pretty versatile bassist. There is also guy named Eric Czar that playes with Joe Bonamassa (blues guy) and he can slap, tap, walk, etc.

How about Phil Chen and Bobby Vega? |

I'd also put one in for Levin and Kai Kurosawa.
