I think these guys are one of the high points of new music this decade. I regret I have only been able to see them live once.

It was a small venue show though and great fun.
I saw them when they were touring the Picaresque album about 5 years ago, it was a great show, Bass on most of their stuff isn't very showy, but he plays just what is needed and no more, and he spent a lot of time on the upright which was very cool.
Their music is very quirky, and it took me a while to get into it when I was first given the CD "Her Majesty" by my "hip" younger brother. But once I got into it, I had a hard time putting it down.
