Need help contacting Geddy Lee

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm following up on an earlier post about my 10 year old son, Ben, who plays and sings Rush:

Youngest MTD 635-24 player? (or: Geddy Lee at 10)

Geddy Lee has been an amazing influence on Ben since Ben watched the film "Beyond the Lighted Stage". He has been studying many of Geddy's basslines (Tom Sawyer, YYZ, The Trees, Freewill, Villa Stragiatto) and lately has begun to sing along too.

We have tickets to see Rush in Vancouver on June 30. I have been trying to send this video clip of Ben performing Freewill to Geddy, coupled with a request to allow Ben to meet-and-greet after the show. Meeting Geddy would mean SO MUCH to Ben.

YouTube - ‪Rush - Freewill - The young Geddy Lee‬‏

The only way I found so far is to write a message to Geddy on his public Facebook page.

Does anyone here know of any other way I can try to contact Geddy? I cannot find any contact email for Rush's management, PR people, etc.

Yes, I know that Geddy is a busy man, and he's on tour. But think that he'll get a kick out of this video and would be happy to meet Ben. From everything I've seen so far, Geddy is a really down-to-earth guy who is happy to meet his fans.

Thanks for any help you can offer,
Moshe

Rush is represented by Anthem Entertainment Group. You might want to try contacting them.

thats gonna be tough. the best way to meet him is winning a meet and greet through the local radio station that is promoting the show.

Isn't Geddy's bass tech on Talkbass? Might be worth a shot to try to get in touch with him.

Wow you must be so proud! I just listened to Alfie's theme, it's amazing! I truly hope you can arrange it, sorry I'm of no use!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Rush's management wrote to me that the only way to meet-and-greet is to win a raffle when you buy merchandise. I guess we're out of luck on that front.

I was not able to find out which radio station, if any, in Vancouver promotes the concert either.

I still would like Geddy to receive the link to the youtube clip. Modulator: who is Geddy's bass tech on talkbass?

I cannot believe that there isn't an Artist Relations person for Rush with whom I could talk directly about this. The guys from Rush seem so down to earth, that I didn't think that it would be so difficult to pass a message to them.

Geddy's tech (at least the last I knew) is Russ Ryan and his screen name is also Russ Ryan.
