That's a really good question. I've seen them several times live but could never quite figure out just what kind of bass Dave Edwardson even uses.

I have searched, and I can't find it.

Do you recall what the thread was about that he posted his rig details in?

** Found it, but no mention of the pedals he uses.**

So far I've got a 70's SVT +810 and an SVT Classic+810 for amp rigs, and he mentions using older 80's Ibanez basses, but the pics for the "Given to the Rising" recording show him using a Fender P-Bass and an old 70's or 80's Peavey bass.

I'm not sure what kind of gear he uses but really I don't think you need anything that special to emulate his tone. A decent bass that stays in tune and an amp you can give some grit to will see you through!

Although if your request for this knowledge is purely academic I wish you all the best in finding it!

i think i recall the thread being about what his live rig consisted of. maybe the thread title was something like "who has seen neurosis live" or "what is the bassist for neurosis live rig." i don't think the thread is that old. good luck!
