Thumbs up New bassist for Captain & Tenille???

Mods - I coin flipped between "Bassists" and "Miscellaneous". Bassists won. Switch if necessary.

I was watching "The Today Show" Saturday morning and they had "The Captain & Tenille" on performing. For their second number, "Do That To Me One More Time", they had one of the feature reporters, Leonard, standing in on bass.

They all made way to big a deal about him being nervous (I'm sure he was) but he played very well. I'd never really paid attention to that song's bassline before, but I liked the way it sounded on his fretless J-Bass.

Anybody else see that? Your thoughts?

Peace,

James

I heard that Michael Manring is the regular bassist with Captain and Tenille - and sometimes he gets to wear that hat, if he's played particularly well...

...it might just be a scurrilous rumour though...

That was MSNBC's Lester Holt sitting in...one of cable news' better anchors.
I knew there was something I liked about that guy.
