New Bassist in these parts

I'm Meggersnewbass and i'm new and i just recently started playing. i'm omly like 13 and i have a garage band and that's why i started! my band's inspirations are Tool and My Chem

Haha. I find it funny that your influences are Tool and MCR (bc their styles are completely different). But, back on subject. Stick w/ it dude, i started playing round your age (12? maybe), adn all i can sya is that it's reallly fun. So jsut rock man.

I'm a girl.....XD I love playing it though and i'mv only been playing fo a couple of weeks and i already have a passion for it.

welcome. yea, that's interesting you listed those 2 bands. tool is amazing. garageband rocks. practice makes perfect.

I don't really know what it is but it's a four string fender

oh yea, since you're new you may want to keep these things in mind. when asking questions such as "what kind of compressor should i get?" "what do you guys think of the sansamp bddi?" "who here likes the pod xt?", stuff like that, you may want to use the search function. otherwise someone named spankypants will quickly come out of cyberspace and tell you to. i think that dude has his pager set up to notify him when someone does not use the search function

just kidding spanky!

this board is full of great info though, seriously, lots of cool bassists with lots of information making lots of cool music. once again, welcome.
