Jimmy Earl is a monster player. Met him 10 or so years ago after a show he was playing with Robben Ford and Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. MAN what a trio! Still among the top 10 shows I have ever seen.

Thanks! Jimmy is one of my favorite players.

I was fortunate enough to get to see him play with the Chick Corea Elektric Band II back in the early 90's. His work on the Robben Ford discs is something I always seem to be listening to.

Nice interview Jon, i love your site.
I saw Jimmy last year when i went to a taping of the Jimmy Kimmel show and sat right in front of him, he sounded really good.
