While I liked the line-up of Colaiuta, Wilkenfeld and Rebello (I am a big fan of David Sancious, love his solo stuff), I lost a bit of interest in the 2009 tour as it didn't bring much new. So I am quite excited to see a new rhythm section and possibly a new setlist. For the 2010 tour it is Rhonda Smith, Narada Michael Walden and Jason Rebello (I would have loved to see Max Middleton on the bill too). |

i'm gonna have to check this out |

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a bona fide Tal-o-holic (with papers), but I also love Rhonda and think this band is going to sound HOT! I am excited for the new possibilities for Tal. I'm very anxious to see what she does next. She will continue to do well. I have no doubt about it. Vinnie is Vinnie. |

Heck, I might even get off my lazy ass and go see a show if it's gonna have Narada playing high-octane instrumental fusion. Fasten your seatbelts kids...there will be blood. |

Vinnie is Vinnie, the best all-around. Jason Rebello is a monster too.
Anyway, the new band is also full of big names.

| | | | My hopes are that one can get to hear a new set list including some more of the older material, possibly some more Mahavishnu stuff (as Narada originally played on the Mahavishnu tunes that were played on the recent Beck tours), maybe Love Is green from Wired, The Rascal and The Saint (from NMW's first album), Blues for Mez (from Ray Gomez' album Volume). |

| | | | Excellent! I loved Tal in that group, but Vinnie's playing made my head hurt. That line-up should be GREAT! |

While Tal is good, in a more understated way, Rhonda is so much Funkier....Yeehaa! Definate plus. This is gonna cook. Can't wait...favourite guitarist with one of the funkiest bass players around.
PS: Sorry Tal, I still loves ya.
