Saw this dude with Dumpstaphunk the other night. They have another guy who switches from bass to guitar, but i was focused on Nick.

It's like Funk is coming straight out of his pores. Sure there are people that can solo circles around him. None of that matters, I would rather listen to Nick any night.

Great tone, using freakin DOD pedals occassionally, certainly slapping a fair bit but NEVER lost any groove for any reason, unless it was his turn to get fruity.

If you are into chopsters, you could do better elsewhere. If you are into funk, you need to see Dumpstaphunk.

I'm in ! Nick Daniels is a beast, and what is strange is taht his fingers (right hand) don't seem to be very comfortable with the bass but when you hear him, you can't doubt he knows how to play.

I have no idea what gear he uses but his tone is really awesome, a bit Paul Jacksson'ish, fat but crispy.

It's a shame I can't see Dr.Klaw or Dumpstaphunk live, they only play in the US...
