I dunno what it is but i love nickelback. I can honestly narrow the reason i started playing bass in to one man Chad Kruegger, he just plays with so much passion. His lyrics also really speak to me, its indescribible. Sometimes I just imagine that i am chad kruegger. Then i would really mean something. How much has chad kreugger influenced life. And y did u start playing bass?

Wow, I hope you're joking. Nickelback is a pillar of mediocrity.

you start playing bass because of a singer/guitarist(Chad Kroeger btw)? Sounds a little backwards. I like nickelback, but they didnt get me started playing bass. People and songs like Roger Waters in Money,John Deacon in Another One Bites the Dust where bass plays a lead roll like that got me started playing bass.

Nickelback really gets pulled through the wringer around here, just so you know.Personally I like listening to some of their songs. I think they have catchy hooks, even if some of them are repeated too often.

Yea but if Chad Kruegger played bass he'd be amazing. I mean he plays a 6 six guitar so he could easily play a 4 or even a 5 string bass. I could totally see Chad tearin it up Vic Wooten style. I mean guitar is obviously harder than bass (its common sense cuz there are more strings), but bass is cool too. Nickelbacks bassist is pretty tight. I think he is really funky. I'm pretty sure hes heavily Jaco influenced.

Nothing against Nickelback, but from the moment I read the OP I did not think this thread was in anyway serious.

I did get a good laugh out of it though.

yea this is a bunch of bs...considering the op is saying bass is easier than guitar...I can't believe how many people on here have nothing else better to do than to come on here and start stupid threads like this.
