Does anyone know what kind of bass NHOP was playing near the end? Like the bass pictured on the album "Those Who Were"? And if you know the strings he was using, you get the double prize for knowledge of bass arcana.

Hello there.
I do know,because I studied with him for four years.
He used an unlabelled Bohemian bass from ca.1830.
A fairly ordinary flatbackbass but with extreme power and even tone.
He used Tomastik Spirocore except for the G-string were he used Pirastro flexocore.
