My faves were Brunel and Jimmy Johnson. I thought Flea did a good job of hanging with the heavies too.

the cover shows Stanley playing Alembic basses. and i think that he plays bass on all except one track. this performance has School Days featuring the most bassists ive ever heard of playing together at one time.

I got it and was rather disappointed. It's okay but not great. Most impressive part was Stevie Wonder playing Giant Steps.

I heard that the Stevie Wonder bit was all over the shop, and that Stan struggles to put something together behind an out-of-place Stevie. Oh well, Wonder is hardly a highlight for me anyway! I've also got Richard D. James by Aphex Twin coming as well, so that should be me sorted for a while!

i love this DVD! i just watched it and i was amazed. 11 bassists somehow managed to fit on one small stage and perform some awesome solos for School Days.

Whoa, you're entitled to your own opinion like anyone else. I just didn't know it was possibly to not think that highly of Stevie Wonder.

Yep, I'm living proof.

Caiman sent me the confirmation order, that dvd is winging it's way over the Atlantic as we speak!

Just picked it up today. Man, he is amazing as are the cast of characters. Stanley is the Renaissance Man of Bass. He is about the most complete player, across multiple genres, you will find.
