The Night Tripper
Went to hear Dr. John tonight. The performance was good, but didn't meet my expectations... it felt uninspired. I read that Dr J fired all the Lower 911 crew and it showed. Good musicians, but not well rehearsed. The exceptions were the bass and drums. I heard Reggie Jackson was the drummer, but missed the bass player's name. Anybody know him? Dwight something. Another question I have is this - is there any connection between Sarah Morrow taking over as musical director and firing the Lower 911? |
