It did. Only one short song though, and I think it went down surprisingly well.

It was loud, noisy, a little out of tune. It sounded a lot like Nirvana. Not so much vocally, but it's clear that Paul gets where they were coming from musically.

Most of these older bands really need to hang it up... Stones, The Who, McCartney. They are done!

Your youthful opinion may have not realised that their audience, which is the largest demographic in history, is still actively appreciating them?

Ahhh, now there's the Talkbass spirit I was expecting to see.

Here's the scoop; if you want to rid the musical landscape of all these dinosaur acts, it's very simple. All you have to do is start a band and have 20 or 30 huge hits, establish yourself as an amazing live act and you can make these guys obsolete. Replace them so they stop selling out the biggest venues around the world. The overwhelming response they get from the public only encourages them to keep doing it (even though we all know they should just pack it in).

Go ahead, get started.

You have every right to your opinion. There's a huge variety of music acts to go see. I love all these Older performers and they sell out every time or close to it. They will never pack it in until they can't physically get up on stage. Either It's in your blood to perform or its' not. Maybe if you would be willing to hang it up as you say, Then you really aren't a true musician. Like the old saying goes. "If you give up your dreams, you die" I will never stop playing my bass. Sure there'll be some people in the audience that will look at me and think I'm too old. People get too hung up on appearance. Rock & Roll is about the music. Not some digitized Over Sampled crap(IMO) delivered by some pretty face.

I'm amazed how good Mick, Rodger and Paul sound after all those years of screaming into a mic on a daily basis. They are truly incredible. They did sound better in the 60's though.

But!!! Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Mama Cass, Jimi Hendrix and many others left a huge role to fill. So I say step up to the plate dude.

Surely, we all agree that Bruce was as good as he ever was. Right?
