Notable Jaguar Bass players?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got a new HRR Fender Jaguar Bass, and decided to check out the Wikipedia article for it here. There's a list of notable jaguar players, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any more. It seems like Pino is the most established bassist who has been seen playing it.

That list will expand over time. You have to remember that these basses only came out 2 and a half years ago. Even the Bongo's been around longer than that.

Yep. I was thinking the same thing. I figured if anyone knew of anyone to add to the list though, it would be good to keep track of it.

If I read the thread correctly Fender is making him a Jaguar bass, he is getting it soon.

But he and the drummer left the band. No more Wolfmother

Yep, but I think he's already playing a stock one in the mean time:

Yeah, I just read that yesterday. It's really disappoining, they seemed to have a good thing going for them. But apparantly the bassist and drummer had been writing songs for the new album, and another project may be in the future for them.

I want to add these to the list, but with Wikipedia, I can only add things that can be verifiable. Are there any images or credible sources that can confirm this? I Googled myself, but came up empty-handed.

There is a video of Sigur Rós at the Museum of Modern Art in NY that I saw recently on TV, he's playing one there.

Thanks, with your help I found this image that indeed confirms it. I'll make sure this is added to the list...anyone know of any more?
