Hi!
Write as many as you know MusicMan Stingray or Sterling or Bongo users (they have to be 4 stringers).

Peace.

Tony Levin, Dave Larue, and recently John Myung come to mind. Granted, they all play Bongo's now, but I figure that's close enough to Stingrays and Sterlings

Yep. I remembered myself:

Roger Manganelli form Less Than Jake - Sterling
Murphy Karges form gayrock band who was cool on the beginning - Sugar Ray - Sterling
Cliff from AC/DC - Stingray
Louis Johnson of Brothers Johnson - Stingray

EDIT:
MM Bongos are good too!

I think Craig Young deserves a mention. A fantastic Nashville studio musician. I understand he now plays a Stingray Classic 4.

Carl Radle was an early StingRay player, along with Louis Johnson. In fact, the first I heard of Music Man was a Carl Radle interview in Guitar Player Magazine. Summer of 1976 and he talks about his Precision with the Jazz bass neck, and the Alembic. Then he says something about a new bass coming on the market that combines the features of the Precision and the Alembic, made by Leo Fender and Tom Walker.

I don't recall his name, but the bassist on a lot of Steve Miller's stuff ("Swingtown", etc.) got a 'Ray.

Bernard Edwards

Freebo (Bonnie Raitt's original bassist from her early scufflin' days through "Sweet Forgiveness")

Teddy Gentry with Alabama. They had a MM endorsement deal because they all played MM guitars and amps until MM folded- then Teddy started playing his old Precison

John
