O.A.R. Fans?

Any O.A.R. fans out there? I don't know about you, but I really dig on Benj Gershman's style. He can lay down the funk, solo like the devil, and still hold down the groove to support the rest of the band. I especially dig Dareh Meyod's groovy reggae feel.

yeah man, he's really good. i love O.A.R., saw them live and they were awesome. some crazy jams at their live shows.

Yes! I was actually going to post a thread asking the same thing the other week but never got around to it. O.A.R. has been a favorite of mine for such a long time. Their "34th and 8th" live album is so great and has some of the best grooves that I've heard them do. Great band, great music.

yes very much so my cousin used to date his sister and i have been lucky enough to see him live quite a few times, very dedicated to what he does, very cool guy.

I really dig their Madison Square Garden live album, but the last couple studio albums haven't done much for me...

But I agree, Gershman is a really solid player!
