I've always been a fan of your older stuff, but this new album nice, with its head in the right place. It emotes just as much as De-Loused and Frances the Mute, but in a different manner. Make sure to keep it coming!

So I got the first one!
I like it alot, very different!
Cotopaxi is my new favorite song! Awesome job!

| | | | I appreciate it! I am very proud of this record. I got to play a lot of fretless which always makes me super happy.
I am curious as to what Best Buy didn't have it out. I want to sick Warner Brothers on them!
Juan

BTW...the show in Ventura, CA, was my first time seeing you guys live and you delivered 150%!

And my favorite cut on Octahedron has got to be "Desperate Graves".

| | | The last track is my favourite. Unfortunately i downloaded the album a few weeks ago but will buy a copy as soon as i have some pennies (the curse of being a poor student)
Going to be seeing you chaps in London next month and I cant wait! See you down the front Juan! |

My only problem is that this was the only album where the kick was very present and it's a slower album.
But Desperate Graves and Copernicus are amazing.
EDIT: And since context clues lead me to believe Juan himself is in here...Your work with TMV has influenced my playing incredibly and I want that lakland signature bass of yours to come out.

Juan | Just out of curiosity, were you playing a Darkstarred fretless Lakland? The fretless during the bridge of "Desperate Graves" blew my mind.

Just kidding...I actually like some of TMV's stuff. Sometimes it's grating, but sometimes it's very interesting. Nobody can accuse them of selling out to the Man, that's for sure!
