I've been busy trying to quit a full time job of 11 years and trying to make it as a full time musician. Did I miss any numbaz? Please, let me know because I'm not trying to be a prick by any means. I'm just another human here on TB. |

They're a great group of guys and are great musicians as well. Click the link in my profile and check them out. According to Chris, the band leader, they're going to be fairly active this summer and even get on at ComFest this year. So if you're in the Columbus, Ohio area and are wanting to play with some cool people, either PM me or post in here that you're interested and I can give you more details. Also, Chris is also the owner of Blue Moon Recording Studio. He'll have you in there plenty of times too recording on his CD's. Also, check out their website www.bridgeconstructionband.com. |

| | Sonic Experimentation Gone Mild to Non-Existent Endorsing Artist: Cave Passive Pedals | | Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Ohio | | My favorite local irish band is Fin Tan ( fintanband.com - Celtic music in southwest Ohio). I knew them before they were a group and have followed them for the last 10 years. Their current bassist -- the chap in the tall hat -- had to move to another state due to work and I've been invited to try out.
I have three weeks to prepare for the try-out. They've given me the three songs that comprise the try-out set list, lyric sheets with chords and MP3 recordings.
I am certain I can learn the songs, as each is comprised of 3 or 4 chords and are fairly repetitious. What I am concerned about is trying to contain my excitement to get this chance. It is not everyday your favorite band gives you a call like this. |

They always get paid. It will make for some nice extra cash for gas and groceries. |
