I love when people start to talk about lines on fretless basses being "training wheels" for lousy players.

Getting jiggy indeed. Seriously, when I see clips like this, I want to hear more jazz on electric bass done by the respected top-tier players like Gary Willis.

Jeff Berlin just released an album of standards, but it's hard to come by recordings of straight-up jazz on electric bass. You can find clips of clinics or live performances here and there, but they just aren't very many albums.

Anyway, GW is a bad dude!
