You want to know what sucks? I saw this video a few days after I ordered my first bass online 2 and a half years ago. I was already nervous and then seeing this video was a huge buzz kill. I was literally about to cancel my order but my bass was almost on it's way to my house!

Anyway, 2 years later I've yet to get that double thump down but I can actually understand what Vic is doing now. I can catch some of his fingerstyle stuff, but his slapping and chording???

I know exactly what you mean, every time I see that video I feel like I should just go buy a triangle and accompany his playing cause that's as close as I'll get to playing like that LOL.

His finger styles are hard enough but understandable, his tapping, slapping and popping though? Only a hummingbird can fathom that - seems like about seven notes play for each time his thumb hits the strings he truly must have extra fingers hidden and coming out his palms!!!!

Man I just can't get into Wooten's playing... I've tried... his intonation seems off cause he plays so fast.
