Are they still looking for a guitarist? I might know a guy.

But!

All in all I enjoyed the show.

I hope this starts a swing back to musicians on stage playing.

Back to people who do the heavy lifting to be able to play an instrument well...

Wow, I'm so late with this thread. I'm up on TB everyday, but never visited this thread. Anyway, Congrats to my boy making it to the band. I remember the first time I played with Mareo. He's definitely come a long way and put in the time. We are from the same hometown, so I know where he's come from and I see where he's going. Lil Bro' keep it up and I'll catch up with you on the road some day. Right now, the soon to be new baby has my hands tied.

I don't know if they're shopping for musicians through the traditional channels...what kind of screen appeal does he have? Will he be good for ratings?

I haven't watched much of this show, but I gotta be happy about anything puts music, and not just music videos or lip-synching pop icons but real music and real musicians front and centre. Culturally it seems like music has become like wallpaper - cheap background ignored because it is pervasive (think iPods, ringtones, etc). I'm not a huge Diddy fan or anything, but if he makes people care about musicians and music... Hey that's respectable.

The show's over so..

The guy could fit in with this group. He's relatively young but he's already been out with a major artist and has solid R&B and Rock chops.

Actually I'll take that back, I heard that there won't be any guitarist at this point.
