I have spent countless hours playing his solo in Champagne Jam. Quintessential Ric tone.

Thank God! I guess he discovered how much we bass players dug him way back when and decided to throw us a bone! One of the best bass players of the 70's...glad to see him strap it on again.

Welcome back, Paul. Stay healthy.

He's a nice guy and great bass player.

Even though the venue is litterally walking distance from our house, I wouldn't go see ARS last year because the only original member was their keyboardist, Dean.

With the death of Ronnie Hammond, without Paul or Barry Bailey, it just didn't seem right.

Any hopes of Barry returning? He's perhaps one of America's most underrated lead guitarists; he gets in..BURNS... and gets out. In Meantime he smoked cigarettes. I hope he's dropped the habit with no lasting health issues.
WELCOME BACK, PAUL...

The MAN is back. Gotta see ARS when they come near me. Goddard has this command of technique which makes him so good. Tasteful - describes his playing.

To this day a part of my warmup is the bass solo from Champagne Jam. No telling how many times I've played that! Welcome Back Paul!

I remember a roommate in college playing that song for me. Goddard is a bad man indeed!

Looking forward to seeing him in action with ARS again.

Here's Paul back in his "pre-Ric" days...

Great news! Paul's solo in "Champagne Jam" was what made me want to learn to play bass.

The web-site pix looks like Paul has lost a bunch of weight - if that's a recent picture. Go Paul!

Was listening to some older ARS today on a road trip and was digging Goddards excellent bass lines. That dude can play!
