Very cool, but in a nonsurprising fashion CBS removed Back in the USSR. Doesnt surprise me at all.

And check 1:55 on Band on the Run. The drummer smashes into the mic and moves it all around. I lol'd.

Thanks. Its' pretty twisted, compared to the original. Kinda like Smokey Robinson meets Jetro Tull meets the Who meets ???

P.S. this is related to a tune that appears on my MySpace page and has nothing to do with McCartney.

Great treat for the New Yorkers! Great show he put on! But above all else what impressed me soooo much is just how GOOD the live sound is, one of the best examples i've ever heard of a live band.

Heck he rocks better at 67 than 99.9% ever rock.

I'm looking forward to the interview. Saw part of it the other day and thought it was pretty funny. BTW, I heard that Will Lee and the band played some Beatle tunes during the show - does anybody have any links to it?

Not that I could find. I wish they would but the house band's music is designed to kill time during commercial breaks. I know they did "Please please me" and "Come Together". The house band w/Will Lee is pretty hot and I wish they would let us hear more of them.

I thought the band sounded great, but was a little disappointed in the murky over-processed vocal sound.
