I really like his tone on this song. Anyone know what his set up was on this song? It was probably etither the 4001s or the violin bass but im not sure. Also anyone know what amp he was using? I think it was a vox |

But then again, that same site claims he used the Hofner on "Something", which is contrary to what Bass Player magazine says (they say he used the Ric on "Something"): http://www.bassplayer.com/story.asp?storyCode=13668

Amp is for sure a Fender Bassman.

There are a few awkward transitions, but in all it is a lot of fun to listen to so many classic songs interwoven as they are. 'Octopus's Garden' is there, and it has an added depth you wouldn't expect with such a campy song. I don't want to spoil any of the suprises. |
