Not only because of his terrific groove and tone, but the clarity, accuracy and relaxed feel with which he plays such fast runs in the piece. Awesome player. I thought about putting him in the "YouTube Finds" thread at first, but I think he deserves a separate thread. Enjoy!

That could be in part that he's playing along to some synthy background track.
Yeah his tone is "hi fi" but man is his technique and time clean!

The chordal background is thin and artificial. Put him behind a good horn band and I don't think it'll be lifeless.
