Pete Wentz Vs. Victor Wooten

Sign in to disble this ad
I heard that Pete Wentz of Fallout Boy can shred like Victor Wooten. Is this true? I'm unable to find a solo video on UTube. I believe that he has a signature bass endorsed by Fender is it?? If you have a bass solo link, please attach it. Thanks!

If by shred you mean feed paper into a machine, then yes. Otherwise, hell no.

I'm sure Victor would make that groove better than Pete anyway.

I heard that Victor Wooten of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones puts on makeup and plays in pop punk bands like Pete Wentz. Is this true? I'm unable to find a solo video on UTube. I believe that he has a signature guyliner endorsed by maybelline is it?? If you have a livejournal link, please attach it. Thanks!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! But, no it's true. They had a battle and poor Vic just couldn't hack it. However, Wentz is such a great guy, he helped Vic up off the ground, bought him a chai tea and then they both got on their unicorns and started traveling the world using their eye-ball laser-beams to destroy internet trolls!

... watch out.

Yeah, I'm just being facetious. But part of my post is serious. I keep hearing all this flack about how Wentz really can't play and then he can play. But I haven't seen any proof to support the arguments one way or the other. You really can't see FOB videos and make an informed opinion. and I honestly can't find anything on Utube. I'm just curious.

Trying to keep a straight face here. Honestly though, last week there was a Fall Out Boy concert on TV (from New York I think), and I watched a bit of it. I'm not trying to be funny here or sarcastic, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out what the hell the bass player was doing. It looked like he was strumming (yup, strumming) the E string for every song, and the bass sound was buried in the mix somewhere. Oh well, they are more successful than me, so maybe I should try strumming!

This thread ought to get locked before it gets out of hand. All joking aside, these two names shouldn't be in the same sentence together. Ever.

IMO I hate Vic Wooten, he seems like a mega d-bag. I'd *gulp* (can't believe I'm saying this) rather go to a FOB concert any day. Unless Vic brought John Entwistle back from the dead and went on tour with him. Cause I almost went to a FOB concert over the summer just to see AAR and Blink182, green day I think was there too.
