Peter Baltes, Accept and Blood of the Nations

Hey guys,

Just wanted to ask you metalheads out there - have you heard the new Accept album - Blood of the Nations?

If yes, what did you think of Peter Baltes' tone?

I just got the album, and started blasting it at home - and holy **** I was blown away... First of all the album has balls, but more importantly Peter Baltes lays down some sick basslines on that record. I mean this guy sits perfectly in the mix, just enough to hold the whole thing together, but also enough to cut through the two lead guitarists and come up with that incredible punch!

Peter uses a pick and a Fender Precision, this is such a classical setup for metal, and once again shows that it works in all situation.

I honestly think that Peter is an under-rated bassist, and he deserves much more credit for his work.

What do you guys think of Peter Baltes and the latest Accept release? Is it only me who thinks that thanks to these guys metal is back with vengeance?

Thumbs up Peter Baltes Amps?

I know Peter uses Fender P-Basses but does anyone know his amp set up? BLOOD OF THE NATIONS is By far the Best Accept I've heard since Restless & Wild!

This album smokes! I love it! Could be the CD of 2010! Udo who? Tornillo is the man! Killer vox! The production is stellar. This album is just a full throttle of riff city! They have not lost a beat after all these years. Amazing. They are showing all the other bands how to make a real comeback album! 13 songs no fillers! I give it 9/10.
I saw Accept in concert a few months back. What a show! I got Peter's pick and also Herman Franks. It was a killer show! Met all the guys as well.
