Peter Hook, anyone?

I admit that I don't really know much about him, or New Order, but I've heard people saying recently how good Peter Hook is. Just wondering what people think of him.

I love the stuff he did with Joy Division- eg. "Isolation" and "These Days" and "Love Will Tear Us Apart" of course, but I'm not too keen on the New Order Stuff, apart from a few eg. "Regret". and IMHO he's been recycling the same riff from NO's "Fine Time" with Monaco over and over again.
