Peter "mars" Cowling

Pat Travers' bassist Mars Cowling was a huge inspiration when I was a budding bass player. Such cool riffs and jazzy inspirations in his style. I know he retired and I think he's living in Orlando,FL. Any others out there that can relate?

Same here. Best thing about the Pat Travers Band was Mars. I don't know what his story is, but I've hung out with him a couple times in the 80's and he seemed like a good guy but not very outgoing. And my GF at the time thought he was kind of a jerk. I didn't get that vibe from him but I did get the vibe that he'd be a bit of a handful to work with.
