This video has a better view of that bass: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjjJUxYe0QU

I know for sure that the bass in that video is some sort of custom Fernandes bass. I can tell by the headstock. Because its the same style as Kenny's guitar. I found a bass with the same rick style body that is made by fernandes but it has a different headstock. I'm sure you could probably switch out the necks with a different fernandes to make it look more like Pete's.

heres the link to that rick style body:http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=en&c...429,r:16,s:123

Nothing like reviving a deadthread almost a year to the night from the last posing, by absolute coincidence. Thought I 'd add this info for any future Peter Steele bass inquires. The posting above that lists the "rick style body" link is NOT the same, nor correct, Fernades bass in question. Peter's Ric-shaped Fernandes was a one-off design for by him and for him , of which three were made (so it's a technically a three-off, as were the green Tremors, but more on that in a moment). Thw body shape was purely a Ric-copy design BUT they were scaled to 110% size so as not to appear so tiny on him as a "standard" bass did. The Tremors he used *after* the Ric-shaped Fernandes', during the recording of Life Is Killing Me and the subsequent tour were Peter-specific in the fact that there were three to be produced, all with body routing for his specific electronics such as the Sustainer system, an EMG, two microswitches (one for the Sustainer, another for a kill), and three knobs (bass/treble/volume). The pearlish light green color was also unique to the Tremors made just for Peter, and was not available to the public on any Fernandes instrument. It was also, in Peter's words to me, the "completely wrong" shade from what he was told it would look like during the development stages. Two were delivered to him and one got scraped (not scrapped) at the factory and not delivered before he switched to the Washburn M10 with his new endorsement deal. I own the #3 which received the paint scrape. I will post pictures one day or night when it is finally completed (a long process so far, as I had planned on having it done two years ago but I keep spending my money elsewhere). In the meantime, it's aging quietly in a case.
