Does anyone know the song, "Something Happened On The Way To Heaven"?

awesome bassline, anyways.. anyone got any ideas what kinda bass that would be? P-Bass maybe

please help, i need that kinda tone for my music

It depends on who was playing bass with Phil at that time. I think it was Lee Sklar, in which case it would probably have been his P-Bass which was a bit more custom than a normal P-Bass.

If it was Nathan East it was probably his Yamaha.... IIRC

I think it was Leland Sklar, he uses a modded P bass with two active EMG P pickups on alot of his recordings but I have read articles that said he has used his Yamaha TRB-5 alot as well but not nearly as much as the P.
