The other day, after listening to a real sweet Phil and Friends show, I decided to look at phil's page to see if there were any new tour dates.
There were, already, 3 shows scheduled in San Fran, to which I had been considering going, but I decided not to go because I live near New Orleans and travel expenses etc.
So the page loads, and at the top there's a big update. "Phil Lesh and Friends Mardi Gras Bash,"(*me=
) and then I get to the part where it says, "in San Fran." (*me=
).
But really, it was like some all-knowing, all-powerful force was working a miracle perfectly designed to piss me off. Mardi Gras
where?
And then the icing on the cake. "With Special Guests Umphrey's McGee." There's an inside joke where I hate Umphrey's McGee. I will not explain.
