Pino really is amazing. Everything he puts his hands to just absolutely grooves/sings/brings it home.

But that Butter in the pan for cookies comment is right on! Great tone with great talent to drive it.

Such a warm tone doesn't clash with the guitar or stomp on the vocals or call attention to itself. I have switched to TI flats lately, and have also found this to be true. |

One of the things about Pino is his authenticity in whatever the genre he is playing. The he'll add some of his own flavor to it to spice it up...but never overdone just for the sake of it.
