Pino W/Paul Young Back in the Day!

Paul Young: “Wherever I Lay My Hat” Live, with Pino Palladino (1985)

This is nice. No matter what the author says, I liked Eighties music except for all of the keyboard bass!

Back in the 80's when Paul Young's videos were all over MTV, I thought the bass was synth. That fretless with octave pedal was out of my narrow view of bass playing at the time. Granted I was young then but still. Awesome stuff.

"Tear Your Playhouse Down" is another Pino/Young classic.

Rockpalast!

That brings back memories. In the late 70's and early 80's we just about had reception of German television. I was just a teen and Rockpalast was always on very late, so I secretly tried to watch the show. It was my introduction to a lot of great music that was not on the regular top 40 tv shows.
