Yeah well closer to the airport ATM. Trying to move a little closer to the city once my lease is up. Was in divine tragedy for a while then moved to FL where I was in a bunch of garage bands. Came back, flirted with guitar for a bit and I'm sticking with bass.

the airport area is still close enough to have gigs that people from here in the city will attend. Did your band play a show with ZILCH or CommonNightmare? I could swear I saw your band's name on a bill with other friends bands in the area.

Playing at Downey's House this evening 6-27...

7pm jam session... Please come and bail me out!!!

www.downeyshouse.com over in Robinson...

I'm bringing my pedal board and giving you free reign to play. It's got lots of toys on it... MXR Envelope Filter, Sansamp Bass DI, A Fishman Fission bass pedal, OC2 Octave, CE2 Chorus, a cool Hardwire Delay, and an EBS compressor...

A Fender P-Bass (with flats on it) and my Carvin B-50 (with rawnds) to play... BYO... I don't care, just come out!

Also, they have the best pepperoni rolls there...

I originally posted at work on my phone, now that I'm home, a little more info!

Here's the band I'm currently in, just joined up with them, seem like great guys: https://www.facebook.com/pages/30-Da...in/61615103864

My former band Divine Tragedy is back together and has a show on 6/30. You know I'll be there! Playing with "Don't Wake the Dead" and "Sleepwalk the Atlas". $5 cover charge and 21 and older at the Fallout Shelter in Aliquippa: https://www.facebook.com/events/290057187757743/

Here's a couple youtube videos I did with a friend from Monaca:

haha well I have seen people bring 8x10's and crazy equipment up those steps so it was just a friendly "warning" I have played down there many times in the couple bands I'm in around here, and since this year, they repaired the AC, they cleaned up the upstairs a lot and there is NO smoking anymore.

If I'm not doing anything on the 31st, I might stop by since the Moose is like 10 minutes from my house.

Yeah I've been to a few shows there, and have seen everyone drag their gear up those stairs. I played venues in DC when I lived in Maryland so I'm used to it! If you come out, I'm like 95% certain we'll be playing first.

we're called Neighbours.

the event is "Sip And Style."
we're playing with The Long Time Darlings, as well.

actually a good time to come see us, since we're not playing again until Sept. (at Club Cafe).

This thread is quiet... too quiet... bump!!!

Been browsing TB pretty frequently, have all new gear, a knowledge of the term g.a.s., and a couple projects going. Life is pretty good, as long as I can keep everything together. How's everyone else doing?

at my age anytime I can wake up and see the light of day and not the light of heaven it's a good day.

I guess in the musical news for the area to gossip about the local band scene here would be ok, but that's what FB is for. Come to think of it I never even looked for a Pgh Club over there because I'm already friends with many of the local bands already intertwined with friends of friends to watch the weekly soap opera unfold.

and you can swear

If anyone is looking for something to do on 12/22 assuming we're all still alive!

We're also playing at the Leechburg Moose 12/21 if anyone is in that area!
