Player on opening credits of "Sudden Impact"

I'm new here but couldn't find this with the search function.

Anybody remember the film "Sudden Impact" with Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry? There is some fine bass work done over the opening credits to that movie and I was wondering who the player is. Anybody know?

I checked...this was released in 1983.

I cannot recall the music...is it an old skool vibe?
If so, maybe Chuck Rainey? Wayne Pedziwiatr? Chuck Dominico?

A more modern tone? Neil Stubenhaus?

OK...I just checked out the "Main Title" (I assume this is the opening credits?) on iTunes.
It's none of those I mentioned.
Lalo Schifrin is the composer/arranger...and I was thinking more of a vibe used in the '70s The Enforcer.

I’ve been listening to the Dirty Harry movie themes this week. A lot of groove bass lines on those songs. Especially the two first movie soundtracks have really awesome scores.
Shame that modern soundtrack’s don’t sound this great.

I could've sworn that it was Carol Kaye...at least, I think that was the case for the first movie.

No way it's Kaye on "The Main Title" from Sudden Impact...it's a whole lotta thumpin' goin' on.
It's possible it's her on the earlier movies.

I want to say that Paul Jackson has played on a few Lalo Schifrin soundtracks including Bullitt and the original Dirty Harry. Could be him?
