I received the CD from CDbaby this week, hasn't come out of my player yet. I love his use of horns, and the 16th note groove on Knutso was worth the admission price alone.

Saw Doug Live

He was just here in Chicago last month at a local bar with some other bassists. He was fantastic. His ability funk and groove simultaneously is inspiring. He's not only a chopster but also has great musicality.

On the album issue, I think I like his first one better. It's self titled.
