Smile polytone amp replacement speakers

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everyone,
I saw on this site there was a discussion going on about polytone amps and wanted to throw a question out there in case anyone might know.
I've been using a polytone megabrute

website: MEGA-BRUTE

it says it is 100w RMS allthough bizarrely it doesn't mention the ohms.
Anyway the speaker is starting to go, through lots of (loud) playing and I wondered if anyone might know what a suitable replacement maybe?
I've found a few good looking speakers on the celestion website etc, but wanted to make sure I bought something that can really take a punishing as like to play loud, and also is compatible with the polytone.
I live in london UK so dont really want to order anything over seas if I can help it.
thanks for your help!
David

You probably meant to post this in the "amps" section, and I believe some kind moderator will move it for you.

I would suggest having the speaker rebuilt, there has got to be a speaker repair shop in London.
