Hey....I was listening to Lou Reed's Sweet Jane with the intro, from Rock n Roll Animal and really was impressed by the bass player Prakash John, anybody familiar with some of his other recordings and other works? Thanks...

He has a great R&B band called "The Lincolns".
I don't know if they're still around, but he's an awesome player.

He was also wicked on Alice Cooper's Welcome to My Nightmare. First class player in the Jack Bruce style.

I don't like Rock n Roll Animal though, it seems like Lou was barely even there, and although all the musicians are impeccable, they don't really appear to care about or even know Lou's songs. Which is fair considering Lou's attitude that comes through on his awful vocals.
