Prakish John's sound with Lou Reed?

Sign in to disble this ad
Anyone here know what the equipment Prakish John used on Lou Reed's "Rock N Roll Animal" ?
The sound is awesome to my ears. The sound is muted sounding, almost "burby". Not really like an upright sound, but I would describe it as " muted synthy with dead like decay". I know that sounds funny, but how did he get that sound?

I saw him with Alice Cooper(Welcome To MY Nightmare tour)...IIRC, it was a Rick & Sunn cabs.
This should be in the same time frame as the Lou Reed album you mentioned.

I saw Lou Reed on the Rock & Roll Animal tour, and Prakish used a Rick...I don't remember the amps though. Man!..he was great, not too many people played like that in rock bands back then.........blew my mind
