Unfortunatly Tom's throat cancer has come back and I believe he will be out for the remainder of this tour. Get well soon Tom!

Good time to pay homage to the man by resurrecting this thread, I think. Get well soon, Tom!

This isn't just a rumor? I don't see it anywhere else in the news. Of course I realize this may be from an inside source.

According to several news accounts I've read today, Tom Hamilton did actually have surgery.

It says a guy named David Hull will be replacing Tom on the rest of the tour. Anyone know anything about him?

David Hull from Farrenheit fame

Sorry John...that's the wrong David Hull (too young and goofy)

try this link for the proper Rock Star

http://tabloidbaby.blogspot.com/2006...supernova.html

Somebody at TB tried to start a David Hull thread awhile ago but it went astray

David Hull w/ Buddy Miles...

This is the band where David really shined (Farrenheit)...I think he changed his name for while to David Heit (and rumor has it that he was one of the lucky among us to actually jam with Jimi back in the day)

Only thing I saw was that Tom had some sort of non-invasive surgery and would miss a few dates.

Dave Hull was the bassist for the Joe Perry project and also filled in for Tom originally on the 2006 tour.

Wasn't he also the one who sang the original version of "Let The Music Do The Talking"? Joe Perry's version, and Hull's vocals, put the later Aerosmith version to shame.

Well, if Tom's cancer came back, that is still pretty serious. Here is praying that he recovers quickly.

We missed seeing Tom play last night in The Woodlands, but Dave put on a good show. we were way up on the lawn, but it looked like he was playing a G&L L-2000. Would have liked to see Tom, but it was a good show nonetheless. Get well soon Tom.

Hope Tom has a speedy recovery. He is truly a phenomenal bassist.

Better yet, maybe someone will tell him to check out this thread and read our well wishes.
