Ok...so I am curious about the players in these forums...

So...heres the poll...how many of you on here play bass for a profession???

When I say profession i mean...that being a bass player is all you do...it is your sole source of income...365 days a year...not taking anything away from people that work other jobs i know there are amazing players on here that do other things for income, I am just wondering what percent of us only play bass...touring / session players/ whatever...the polls are open!

Again I would say it is not so clearcut - I know a lot of people here are teachers of music or bass playing - so they have no other job than music...?

I play in a band with a guitarist who has no day-job as such, but makes money teaching guitar individually and at schools, as well as playing gigs...?

I'm unemployed currently. I've also made money as a bassist while I had a day job. I'm working to make Versed in Grey a legit career.

I never get sick of playing bass. I love working hard to make things right and I can honestly forsee myself touring around for life... it's just a matter of getting myself there the hard way.

I'm confused what to click. So, if you're a full-timer, you click 'yes'?

Actually, it wants a percentage. I suppose we guess what percentage of TBers are pros then we click yes once we've come up with a number...but then what is "no" for? Is that for people who refuse to estimate the percentage? I'm confused too!
