PROPOSED NEW STICKY "OBSCURE BASSISTS"

I'd like to see a list compiled of Bassists especially obscure or lesser known guys complete with links to info on those guys.

We live in a society that revolves around now so much, however there have been/are some great players out there who aren't as well known that we can/should look up to. Especially in the era of little to no credit given to studio musicians.

I'd like to honor those who haven't gotten the credit they are due before we lose them. Everybody knows their lines, but not necessarily who they are.

Besides it'd give the younger guys exposure to greater influece than radio.

I don't exactly know how to go about it but as a whole I think we should give it a shot.

Who is with me?

God Bless, Ray
