Hey guys - just got word that Radiohead released the master tracks to their song 'Reckoner' off of their latest masterpiece In Rainbows...that means you get isolated Colin Greenwood 70s P bass goodness. After listening to it isolated, it's amazing how much different a trusty P sounds in the mix. Granted there's not a lot of bass in this song at all, barely any in fact, after the bridge around 3.35 however you get to hear some really subtle and tasteful riffs that characterizes Colin's playing. Just passing on the word. At least I know I'm playing this song perfectly, never would've heard this stuff otherwise.

there's also the 'nude' isolated bass track that was released earlier. just passing along the word!

Saw Radiohead a couple weeks back in Golden Gate Park. Colin's tone on record is very much the old school, miked B-15 sound. But live, his bass is absolutely thunderous. A very underrated player IMO.
