He used to be a bit more of a talking point back in the day, but I think people have grown weary of speculating about his gear and such!

I appreciate how present he is in the mix in a band as popular as RATM. I also loved his Music Man tone, especially when he played REALLY hard, and with distortion. Absolutely awesome rock tone.

I like his tone, actually I am playing a Jazz because of him.

There was a huge thread in the Effects section about his setup.

There is also a thread about Timmy C's new Lakland's.

interesting story: back in 99 i managed to blag my way into a fear factory soundcheck, where i met christian's bass tech who showed me his custom shop 5 string jazz. he said that fender got two necks from the maple, christan got one, tim c got the other.

The dude seems a bit over rated. Just my opinion of course.

Technically, not overly impressive, Yet they are right in context with the rest of the band.

That said...I love to play some Rage covers. Sure, they're not all that challenging, but they're good solid lines that are just a hell of a lot of fun to play.

I agree, they are very fun to play, they might not be hard but really fun.
