Did this version have competent musicianship? Sure, you bet, no doubt.
Did they nail the notated musicality of it? Sure, you bet--played as arranged and written out.
Did they nail the spirit and soul of the song-AT ALL?
For me-NO. Simply NO. No one could. It would always be a copy, a way less than perfect facsimile of a true, rare gem. And Orianthi--oh my my my! Ahhh-I better shut up. Gawd, I am bad. I mean really, really bad

| | | | It's nice to see Randy Jackson playing bass again. Interesting choice having Steve Vai come in to play rhythm tracks. All in all, they could have done much more damage to the song than they did.
